Ynet reports that three low-ranking IDF officers said they would refuse to participate in the uprooting of one of the populated IDF outposts - and two of them were sentenced to ten days in the stockade. The third has not yet been tried, because of weakened emotional condition as a result of the entire incident. The three live in Yesha communities, and said that their conscience did not allow them to uproot a Jewish town in the Land of Israel. Technically they did not "refuse orders," because their unit, in fact, did not take part in the dismantling - yet they were still tried and sentenced.
