Egyptian President Al-Sisi held a meeting in the town of Sharm el-Sheikh in the Sinai Peninsula Tuesday with Israeli Prime Minister Bennett and Abu Dhabi's Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Zayed, the Egyptian president's office announced Tuesday afternoon.

During the meeting, the three discussed the war in Ukraine and its impact on the energy market, the world economy, and the world food supply.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office, Bennett has completed his visit to Egypt, and is set to board a return flight to Israel Tuesday afternoon. President Al-Sisi has accompanied Bennett to the airfield for the Israeli leader's departure.

"Against the backdrop of the recent developments in the world and the region, the leaders discussed the ties between the three countries and ways to strengthen them on all levels," the Prime Minister's Office said.

This is Prime Minister Bennett's second visit to Egypt. His first official visit to Egypt took place in September last year.
