A complex compromise has been reached, with the help of Prime Minister Sharon\'s lawyer Yaakov Ne\'eman, regarding the use of Sharon\'s son Omri on diplomatic missions to Arafat. The petitioners against the use of Omri - opposition leader Yossi Sarid and the Movement for Quality in Government - agreed that each mission will be decided by Attorney-General Elyakim Rubenstein on a case-by-case basis. If Rubenstein withholds his consent for a given Omri mission, the Supreme Court will have the final say.
