Naftali Yonah of the Gush Katif community of Morag spoke with Arutz-7 today:

"Yesterday it happened again: Two terrorists neared the community with their guns up, were sighted by an IDF lookout, who shot at them. This time they ran away, other times they are killed. It as happened frequently of late - twice in the past week, and another incident where they left a 30-kg. bomb on our fence..."

When asked what could be done, resident Yitzchak Ideles said, "There is not much for us to do, except to turn to G-d with prayer, and trust the army. The army takes preventative action sometimes, in addition to its other successes..."

Army officials have said that the presence of the Jewish communities in Gaza is not a burden, but rather a security asset in that they enable an IDF presence in the area.
