A 32-year-old man, a resident of Tel Aviv, on Tuesday evening poured red paint into the pool of the fountain at Dizengoff Square in the city. The reason for the act is unclear.
A team from the Tel Aviv Police arrived at the scene, detained the suspect and took him for questioning.
The suspect was found to have brought containers and bags with red paint to Dizengoff Square.
