(Updated Wednesday 12PM) Foreign Minister Shimon Peres pulled no punches at a meeting with members of the European Union parliament in Brussels last night. In response to a question about Israel's alleged violations of Palestinians' human rights, asked just a day after an Arab suicide bomber murdered 14 Israelis, Peres said, "Nobody in Europe has ever experienced a suicide attack. There is no way to compare bombs with words. The passengers on the bus yesterday had the basic human right to live and not be burned to death, which was violated in the most shocking and horrific way… It is either terror or a solution - there is no in between." When one parliament member asked whether the homes of terrorists destroyed by the IDF would be rebuilt Peres responded, "Why not repair the buses that were blown up and bring back to life those passengers that were murdered?"
