Hundreds of women from all over Yesha arrived at the Hyatt Hotel in Jerusalem this afternoon for a first-of-its-kind gathering. "Our purpose," Naamah Shpeter, chairperson of a new group called Women of Yesha (Judea, Samaria, and Gaza), told Arutz-7 today, "is to strengthen and be strengthened, to give and receive encouragement, in our daily struggle with the war of terrorism forced upon us." She said that though terrorism is a threat to many people in Israel, "we have a double burden: We face its threat not only on the roads or in town, but even in our homes - as we have seen children and adults who have been killed here in Yesha by terrorists inside their very homes... We find ourselves supporting everyone: our husbands, our children, in our communities and on the various committees on which we volunteer - and we would like to draw strength from each other today in our continuing efforts to lead Yesha forward."

Shpeter said that guests at the gathering will include government ministers Livnat and Livny and deputy ministers Ezra and Blumental.
