Kalkilye, which has not been under curfew for the past two weeks due to the "relative quiet," was placed under IDF curfew today in response to ominous intelligence community warnings. It is believed, based on preliminary findings, that the terrorists - apparently from Islamic Jihad - originated in Jenin, which, together with Tul Karem, was also not under curfew of late. Officials acknowledge that though the past two weeks were described as "relatively quiet," there were no less than 40 credible serious intelligence warnings of planned attacks. Many attacks were prevented over this period, as five human bombs were arrested on their way to attacks, two of them were killed, and other actions were taken.
