Hundreds of residents from N\'vei Daniel and other Gush Etzion communities blocked the Tunnels Highway late this afternoon to Arab traffic and began marching north towards Solomon\'s Pools south of Bethlehem. They were protesting two grave shooting attacks on Israeli vehicles last night, neither of which, miraculously, resulted in injuries. In the first case, Palestinian terrorists shot from a moving vehicle at a couple from Efrat; a dozen bullets hit the car, and one even hit a headrest. In the second case, bullets hit the vehicle of a N\'vei Daniel man. A third shooting occurred south of Gush Etzion; as mentioned, no one was hurt in any of the attacks.
IDF officials reported eight shooting attacks in Gaza yesterday. Army positions near Susia, in the Southern Hevron Hills, and near el-Aroub, north of Hevron, were attacked by terrorist gunfire last night; no one was hurt. Two passengers aboard a bus in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo were hurt when Arabs threw rocks at the vehicle last night; one was taken to Hadassah Hospital for treatment.
