Frogs, we get.

Lice, we get.

Locusts, we get.

But what is so terrifying about darkness, a condition we experience every day when the sun goes down?

Darkness becomes a plague when we know that others have light, and we don't.

Our world is darkened when we judge our happiness, not by what we have, but what others have that we don't.
