While various media outlets this morning indicated that at least a dozen policeman were wounded in confrontations with protesters at Gilad Farm last night, Gush Etzion Regional Council head Shaul Goldstein says that the police sustained injuries due to the darkness, and not as a result of any actions taken by the demonstrators. Goldstein told Arutz-7 this morning that he had a late night conversation with the policeman in charge of yesterday’s evacuation who said “loud and clear” that not one of the policeman was wounded due to a violent act from a protestor, rather they sustained minor injuries, while hiking up to the Gilad Farm in pitch black conditions.
