"The law will also be implemented towards the Palestinian side." So say staffers in the office of Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer's press advisor. "There are very many authorizations to demolish illegal Palestinian buildings that constitute a security problem in the territories." Dr. Aaron Lerner of IMRA, who asked the question prompting the above reply, says that if there are in fact "very many" approvals for "illegal buildings that constitute security problems," there appears to be no reason why they should not be taken down within the next few days. "We will be following developments closely," Lerner told Arutz-7 today, "in light of Ben-Eliezer's current mad rush to take down Jewish outposts."
