The Zionist Organization of America launched a billboard campaign Monday, lobbying against the reopening of an American consulate in eastern Jerusalem.
The consulate, which was closed by the Trump administration in 2019, had served as a de facto American mission to the Palestinian Authority.
The new billboards put up in Jerusalem by the ZOA read "No to a Palestinian consulate. Yes to an undivided Jerusalem".
Mort Klein, National President of the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA): "ZOA proudly stands with the Israeli government in it’s appropriate refusal to open a Jerusalem consulate for the terrorist dictatorship of the Palestinian regime."
"Giving them a consulate would not only be a step towards the division of Israel’s capitol Jerusalem, but would also reward a jew killing regime, that pays Arabs to murder Jews and names schools, streets and children’s camps after Jew-killers. The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) urged Prime Minister Bennett to keep standing strong knowing he has strong supporters in the US."
