A four-month-old baby daughter were seriously injured when two vehicles collided at the entrance to Havat Gilad in Judea and Samaria Thursday morning. A 41-year-old man was lightly injured in the accident.

Magen David Adom medics and IDF medics treated the two at the scene and evacuated the infant to Schneider Hospital in Petah Tikva. The hospital said that her condition was serious.

Samaria Regional Council chairman Yossi Dagan claimed that the state discriminates against residents of Judea and Samaria in transportation infrastructure: "The blatant discrimination against the residents of Judea and Samaria is what leads to such accidents. Transportation infrastructure has suffered for decades from severe discrimination and under-budgeting. In recent years, there has been 'improvement,' but still most of the roads in Judea and Samaria, including the entrance junction to Havat Gilad, do not meet the minimum safety standards as elsewhere in the State of Israel."

"I call on the public to pray for the healing of the baby Bat Ayin Bat Atara, who is currently in very serious condition at the hospital," Dagan said.
