Defense Minister, Benny Gantz thanked the Palestinian Authority for offering to help combat the massive fire which has burned much of the Jerusalem mountains.
“I would like to thank PA Chairman Abbas for his his initiative to send the firefighters who came to assist Israel today. Mutual care and saving human lives are common interests to us all,” Gantz tweeted on Tuesday,
The defense minister also sent a message of appreciation to the PA through COGAT.
