Daylight-savings time comes to an end in Israel tonight, just ahead of the winter season. At 1AM tonight clocks will be moved back to Midnight. While last Friday the Sabbath began in Jerusalem at 5:45 PM, this week it will start at approximately 4:35PM. For the next several weeks Israel will be two-hours ahead of London, six ahead of New York, seven ahead of Chicago, and nine ahead of Los Angeles.
