Police overnight arrested two illegal residents and a resident of eastern Jerusalem in Tel Aviv on suspicion of involvement in the rape of a 22-year-old resident of central Israel.
The incident allegedly involved two residents of the Palestinian Authority who are staying in the country illegally, and another suspect from eastern Jerusalem.
Jaffa police officers located the three suspects and arrested them for questioning at the police station, at the end of which they were imprisoned.
