An IDF serviceman was bitten Saturday night by a snake at an IDF base in the center of the country. His condition is defined as serious.
The serviceman was evacuated for medical treatment at the hospital and notice was given to his family, which is staying beside him.
The IDF said that the incident would be investigated.
