(Updated Thursday 10:30 AM) Security officials in the community of Har Adar, just northwest of Jerusalem, thwarted an infiltration attempt by four Palestinian terrorists this morning. The Moslems had just managed to cut through the community’s security fence when they were spotted. Arutz-7’s Kobi Finkler reports that one of the Arabs was captured, while the others succeeded in fleeing.
Last night troops discovered an explosives belt in an Arab village in the Tul Karem district. The soldiers destroyed the belt in a controlled explosion. Also found were several Kalashnikov assault rifles with magazines. At least 30 Arabs wanted for terror activity were arrested throughout Yesha (Judea Samaria, and Gaza). One of those taken into custody was a top Hamas leader responsible for attacks in the Ramallah district.
In addition, Arabs launched a mortar shell at a Jewish community in Central Gaza… There were several Arab stone-throwing attacks reported throughout Yesha… Firebombs were thrown at vehicles traveling near the community of Beitar in Gush Etzion. Soldiers opened fire at the attackers. No injuries were reported in any of these incidents.
