The price of gas has hit a record high: 4.61 shekels for a liter of 95 and 96 octane fuel (the equivalent of $3.58 per gallon). A price increase of more than 3.5% was approved last night - the ninth consecutive price increase this year. Cooking gas is expected to rise by 10%, and the price of other fuels will also jump, in accordance with the increase in international fuel prices.
