It is about time that whoever is a traitor to Israel should at least be labeled as such - I am referring to Yossi Beilin and Yossi Sarid, who cooperate with the enemy, and it is time that Israeli society spews them out, and I hope the day will yet come when they sit in prison for their crimes.\" Sarid and Beilin each met recently with Arafat; Beilin is said to have been making efforts on having him invited to Washington, while Sarid has suggested that Arafat condition the cessation of violence on a settlement freeze.

His opposition colleague MK Sha\'ul Yahalom (NRP) blamed the government today for concentrating on a \"sterile diplomatic process with a cruel enemy instead of directing its efforts towards an intensive military effort to defend Israel\'s citizens.\"
