IDF troops found several Kassam rockets in the Arab village of Jeet yesterday. The ready-to-launch rockets were aimed at the Shomron community of Kedumim, which is just several hundred meters away from Jeet, across Route 55. Explosives experts were called in to dismantle the rockets.
It was released for publication today that security officials cracked a top Tanzim terror cell in the Hevron district several days ago. The group was involved in detonating explosive devices next to IDF and civilian vehicles in the area. Four members of the cell have been arrested so far.
Arabs launched 3 mortar shells at IDF positions in southern Gaza early this morning. In addition last night gunfire was directed at troops near the PLO-controlled towns of Jenin and Tul Karem. No injuries were reported.
