Knesset Speaker Yariv Levin is considering holding the swearing-in of the 36th government, the replacement government headed by Bennett and Lapid, as early as this Wednesday, journalist Amit Segal reports.

According to the report, Levin has not yet made a final decision on the matter, and he is expected to decide by tomorrow.

According to the law, the swearing-in of the government must take place up to one week from the moment the announcement of the formation of the government to the Knesset plenum is made.

Since Lapid's announcement to the President and Speaker of the Knesset that he was able to form a government was made last Wednesday around midnight, the announcement to the plenum will only take place tomorrow, and the inauguration can therefore take place by the following Monday.

However, in a letter in which Lapid informed Levin about the formation of the government, he also asked for the inauguration to be held as early as possible, and as stated, the Speaker of the Knesset is considering meeting the request.
