The shekel gained a bit on the dollar this morning, following American clarifications that Israel's credit rating will not be changed for the present. World Bank predictions that Israel's economy is expected to pick up in 2003 also contributed. The dollar now stands at 4.842 shekels, about 1% lower than yesterday.
