Despite a terror alert in the capital, about 15,000 people are currently taking part in the annual Sukkot holiday march through the streets of Jerusalem. Approximately 2,000 police officers are on hand. The marchers, divided into various walking groups, will gather in Gan Sacher (Sacher Park) in the early afternoon and proceed to the Old City's Jaffa gate where the event will conclude.
