Even before the formation of the government, the battle for control of the Knesset may be expressed Monday in a vote on the composition of the Arrangements Committee - the committee that manages the working procedures in the Knesset until the formation of a government.

According to the report by Kan Reshet Bet, the Likud bloc wants to determine the composition of a representative ratio for every five seats, while the anti-Netanyahu bloc wants a representative ratio of four seats - and the decision will affect the question of which bloc will have a majority in the committee.

The United Arab List (Ra'am) intends to support the Likud's proposal, while Yamina has not yet decided.

If Yamina also chooses to support the Likud, the aspirations in the center-left bloc to pass legislation banning Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu from being prime minister may become irrelevant by Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Yamina Chairman MK Naftali Bennett will deliver a statement at 2:30 p.m., at the opening of the weekly faction meeting, during which he is expected to address coalition negotiations.
