\"Since Rosh HaShanah, we have been struggling for two things that are apparently in the national consensus, both on the left and right. We are struggling for the Temple Mount which has no strategic or security value whatsoever... but it is a location that defines us - who we are and why we are here. The second thing that was brought to light since October is the refusal of the people of Israel to concede the so-called \"Right of Return\" to Arab refugees. The \"Right of Return\" would flood this country with Arabs and would mean the end of the Jewish state. The majority of Israel\'s Jews believe that this is a Jewish state first and foremost. It is the national headquarters of the Jewish people. We can thank Ehud Barak and his concessions for bringing this to light. That the Jewish state is meaningful to each individual Jew. We have to build on these facts to ensure our future.\"

\"A mortar fell right where the children were. Five youth were hurt. The youth that had taken first aid courses helped the injured stop the blood flowing from their wounds... We feel that the gov\'t is not doing what it is capable of doing to protect us… This is our home. It\'s a very simple matter. Many of us come from several generations of people who have been refugees from different countries - Germany, Poland, and Arab countries - and we have now come home and don\'t plan to be refugees here... You can\'t expect people to sit quietly while their children are being hurt.\"
