The Prime Minister's Office revealed today that three Italian citizens and a former Palestinian security services officer were abducted by members of various PA security services two nights ago. The abduction took place in southern Gaza, apparently in protest of the firing of one of the kidnappers from PA military intelligence. His accomplices hopped on board the scheme because they were upset with the PA over salary issues.



The Italians and the PA officer were finally released after several hours of negotiations. Israel's government press advisor notes that the abductees fell victim to the prevailing anarchy within PLO areas.
