
Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups of brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup of either softened butter or margarine, or sunflower oil
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 2 cups of quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup of white flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
Method:
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F
- Stir brown sugar and butter/margarine/oil in large bowl until fully blended
- Add and mix egg and vanilla. Stir until completely mixed and light, fluffy
- Stir in oats, flour, baking soda and salt
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Place rounded tablespoons of of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Leave roughly 2 inches between each cookie
- Bake for 10-12 min, or until golden brown
- Cool slightly, then remove from baking sheet
