Ingredients:

  • 1 kg assado on the bone
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp silan (date syrup)
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • small pot tomato paste
  • 1 cup water

Method:

Place beef in a dish, scatter onions around beef, sprinkle brown sugar all over, rub silan into the meat, place tomato paste on meat, pour on red wine and water to cover.

Cook covered for 2 hours on 150 degrees.
