An armed guard will be stationed from now on at Israel Radio's recording studios. The new development follows the violent break-in by employees into a popular morning talk show last week. The employees were protesting the fact that Uri Dan, a journalist with right-wing views and a close friend of Prime Minister Sharon, had been given an extra weekly hour on the show. Three leaders of the break-in are the subjects of disciplinary proceedings. The Employees Union threatens a general strike if the three are punished.
