Security officials are now confirming that about 25 Arabs - with blood on their hands - are hiding out in PLO leader Yasser Arafat's Mukata compound in Ramallah. An Arutz Sheva English-radio news correspondent broke the story several weeks ago.
Among the terrorists are Mahmoud Darma, a Force 17 ringleader whose cell is responsible for murdering 15 Israelis. Also seeking refuge with Arafat is Tawfiq Tirawi who heads the Palestinian Authority's intelligence service in Judea and Samaria. Tirawi is wanted for organizing shooting attacks on Gilo, smuggling arms, building explosives, and giving shelter to terrorists. He was also one of the Arabs involved in the hostage standoff at Bethlehem's Church of the Nativity during Operation Defensive Shield.
