The Palestinian Authority and its associated terrorist organizations have intensified the warfare against Israel in the past two days. Amidst a rush of attacks in various areas of the country, Shlomo Elmakias, 21, a soldier, was murdered last night at the Um el-Fahm Junction in the lower Galilee. The terrorists pulled up next to the victim\'s car at a traffic light and began asking direction. After ascertaining that the intended victims were in fact Jewish, the terrorists opened fire. Shlomo was gravely wounded and died almost immediately; four women passengers in the car were lightly wounded. He was buried this afternoon in the military cemetery in Netanya.
