MK Betzalel Smotrich this evening attacked New Right Chairman Naftali Bennett on Meet the Press.
Smotrich said he would not endanger religious Zionism below the electoral threshold but stressed that "religious Zionism has always passed the electoral threshold because it has a base with yeshivot and ulpanot and has one hundred percent ability to pass the electoral threshold."
Smotrich claimed that Bennett in the past had 16 seats just like now and "we know how that ended." He said: "Ayelet was in the lead, it ended with seven seats, Naftali in the third round was in the lead and brought religious Zionism to the worst place ever with six seats."
