Two residents of an Arab suburb of Jerusalem, Beit Tzafafa, were indicted this morning in the Jerusalem District Court on charges of spying for the Palestinian Authority. They are accused of attempting to enlist two women soldiers to their network, promising them money and drugs. The two suspects admitted their connections with Jibril Rajoub's Preventative Security organization, and one of them even supplied information regarding the goings-on in Beit Tzafafa. The plan was discovered by GSS agents as they reviewed PA documents seized during Operation Defensive Shield. Itim News Agency quotes unnamed security officials saying that this "grave story once again shows the easy access that Jerusalem Arabs have to the Israeli population, by virtue of the freedom of travel that they are granted and the fact that they work in Israel."
