This afternoon, a 15-year-old terrorist was wounded when a bomb he was preparing exploded prematurely in the Hevron-Gush Etzion area. On his way to a hospital, he was intercepted by soldiers - who allowed him to continue on his route while under arrest.
In honor of the opening of the school year in the Palestinian Authority, the curfews in Shechem, Ramallah, Kalkilye, and Tul Karem were removed - but following yesterday's attack in Brachah, the curfew was reinstated today in Shechem. The IDF believes that the terrorist exploited the measures Israel took to relieve civilian distress in order to carry out the attack. The army announced that implementation of similar relief measures in the upcoming period will now be reconsidered. In Tul Karem, too, the curfew was reinstated, after large IDF tank and infantry forces entered the city and began house-to-house searches for wanted terrorists.
