Supreme Court Justice Shlomo Levin ruled today not to allow the brothers Yigal and Haggai Amir to leave prison for their sister\'s wedding tomorrow. Yigal Amir, convicted of assassinating Yitzchak Rabin, and his convicted-accomplice brother Haggai, had appealed an earlier Prison Service decision not to allow them to attend the wedding. Judge Levin, in rejecting the appeal, said, \"Allowing them to leave prison is likely to create a dangerous situation, not only for the brothers themselves and their escorts, but for the general public as well.\" Judge Levin also noted that the State was not required to mobilize great amounts of manpower so as to enable the two to leave prison, since their sister and her new husband could visit them in prison.
