Tesla CEO Elon Musk “most likely” has a moderate case of the coronavirus, the South African-born billionaire said over the weekend.
Musk, who had tested both positive and negative on Thursday for the coronavirus in four separate tests, concluded that he probably does in fact have the virus, and is likely experiencing a “moderate” case of coronavirus.
In a tweet Saturday, Musk said he is still getting “wildly different results” from his coronavirus tests, casting doubts on the accuracy of COVID-19 tests, but said he believes he is probably infected with the virus.
"Am getting wildly different results from different labs, but most likely I have a moderate case of covid. My symptoms are that of a minor cold, which is no surprise, since a coronavirus is a type of cold.”
"A little up & down. Feels just like a regular cold, but more body achy & cloudy head than coughing/sneezing.”
On Thursday, Musk cried foul after he received conflicting results from four different coronavirus tests taken on the same day.
“Something extremely bogus is going on. Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD.”
