Following last week's bombshell news of the involvement of five Israeli-Arabs from the Jerusalem area in three murderous terrorist attacks, the police and GSS came out with another shocker this morning: Seven Arab citizens of Israel from the Galilee have been arrested on charges of cooperating in the suicide attack in Meiron two weeks ago. Nine people were killed in that explosion, including a Druze soldier, an Israeli-Arab, and two Philipine women.
As if that weren't enough, the Bedouin in the south may be acting up. Two policemen were hospitalized last night when they came to arrest a car-theft suspect in the village of Tel Sheva. Neighbors threw rocks on the policemen, and more policemen had to be called in. One woman was arrested for attacking police, and two police vehicles were damaged. Elsewhere in the same village last night, guns were fired at a family feud and four people were injured. Police were called in to restore peace.
