Yesterday, (Oct. 7, 2020) haredi residents of Borough Park, Brooklyn, held a protest against Gov Andrew Cuomo's newly-imposed coronavirus restrictions. On Tuesday, October 6th, Cuomo ordered nine predominantly-Jewish NYC neighborhoods back on lockdown mode.
The new measures came in the middle of the holiday of Sukkot, prompting protesters to reportedly block roads and burn debris.
