The Supreme Court rejected a petition today by the family members of Assad Zaarub of Gaza against the demolition of their home. Zaarub murdered his employer Nissan Dolinger of Pe’at Sadeh three months ago, and his house was sealed by the IDF. The IDF maintains that destroying terrorist houses is a very effective deterrent against terrorist attacks, and brought proof to this effect. The judges concluded unanimously today that there was no basis for their intervention against the demolition.
