The National Religious Party and Shas blame Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer's political problems within the Labor Party for the Gaza First agreement - but it appears that only the NRP will be doing something about it. Government minister Effie Eitam and MK Sha'ul Yahalom say that the agreement renders their presence in the government irrelevant. A final decision will be made tomorrow during a party Knesset faction meeting, following the Cabinet meeting. Minister Shlomo Benizri (Shas) says that the power struggle within Labor is what led Ben-Eliezer to initiate the agreement.
