(Updated Sunday 9:30 AM) As the Pi Glilot gas company strike enters its sixth day, fuel shortages are being reported at pumps in Jerusalem and in the south of the country. The gas shortages are expected to hit other areas as well. An end to the strike is not even in sight as talks held late last night between Pi Glilot’s management and it employees failed to generate progress. The strikers are protesting new Infrastructure Ministry regulations that are pushing management to fire workers. They are also agitated by management’s refusal to grant them a cost-of-living increase.
