A leading wanted terrorist was killed by IDF forces in the central Shomron village of Tubas this afternoon, between Shechem and Jenin. Nasser Jarar, 44, spent the last few weeks attempting to plan and carry out a large-scale terror attack in an Israeli city, specifically targeting a multi-story building. He was wounded this past May while placing bombs, losing both legs and one hand, yet continued enlisting suicide terrorists for other attacks against Jews.

Jarar was killed when an IDF force, including bulldozers and tanks, arrived at his home to arrest him. Fire was opened on the force, and the soldiers then activated a procedure known as "Pressure Cooker." The building was surrounded, fired upon, and later demolished. No one in the house surrendered, and Jarar is assumed to be buried in the ruins of the building.
