The Histadrut national labor union held a three-hour warning strike this morning, from 10AM til 1PM. The strike came in protest of the lack of a cost-of-living increase for salaried employees, despite the increasing rate of inflation. The union warns that if this demand is not met within two or three weeks, harsher measures will result.

Today's strike affected government offices, regional and municipal councils, some health services, the Postal Authority, Bezeq Telephone Company, Israel Electric Company, Mekorot Water Company, some flights at Ben-Gurion International Airport, and more.
