(Updated Monday 9:00 AM) The Knesset will be convening for a special summer session today. A number of issues will be discussed including the government’s budget cuts plan, which was recently approved by the Cabinet, as well as Israel’s fight against PLO-terror. In addition Orit Noked will be sworn in as a Labor party MK, replacing Shlomo Ben-Ami. The meeting was called at the request of more than 25 Knesset members.
