The Israeli security forces continue to pursue those who lynched the two IDF reservists last October in Ramallah. Five days ago, the GSS arrested Khalil Shumra, patrol officer of the Palestinian police in El Bireh (immediately south of Ramallah). Shumra was among those who originally arrested the two soldiers - Vadim Norzitch and Yosef Avrahami - who arrived in Ramallah after making a wrong turn. Arutz-7\'s Kobi Finkler reports that Shumra brought them to the Ramallah police station, where they were brutally murdered by an Arab mob. Shumra allegedly opened the station\'s doors to the mob, and took part in the lynching himself.
Israeli security forces also arrested yesterday additional members of a terrorist cell who murdered five Israelis - including Rabbi and Mrs. Binyamin Ze\'ev and Talia Kahane - over the past few months. They were arrested inside PA-controlled territory (Area A). It was learned that the terrorists had been planning to commit additional attacks in the near future.
