One person was killed and three more wounded in a shooting just outside of Jerusalem Tuesday afternoon.
Police say that a car carrying four people arrived at a police station in Maale Adumim, east of Jerusalem, Tuesday afternoon.
The four people in the car were suffering from gunshot wounds, and requested assistance from police.
Emergency first responders from United Hatzalah and MDA were dispatched to the scene, and treated the victims before evacuating them to a hospital for treatment.
One of the four victims, a man in his 30s, was declared dead at the scene, United Hatzalah reported.
United Hatzalah volunteer EMT Tzvi Levine relayed from the scene: "One of the people who had sustained gunshot injuries and was brought to the station had no pulse and was not breathing.”
“His death was pronounced at the police station due to the severity of injuries that he sustained. Together with other EMS personnel, I treated three other people who were brought to the police station. They too had sustained gunshot wounds as well as serious contusions. They were all fully conscious and were treated at the scene for their injuries."
Initial reports have identified the four victims as residents of eastern Jerusalem. They were reportedly shot by Palestinian Authority residents in the town of al-Azariya, on the eastern border of Jerusalem.
