Released for publication today: The remnants of a LAW anti-tank missile were found last week in central Israel, near the Yarkonim Junction in Petach Tikvah. Local police received word on Wednesday night of an explosion in the area, arrived in the area, and found nothing. The next morning, however, following a report of the find of part of a LAW missile in the vicinity, the police identified the spot in which the missile landed. No one was hurt, but the police are resolutely investigating who could have fired the powerful missile, from where, and how. The nearest PA-controlled area is assumed to be out of range of the rocket.
