Sixty-two year old Jerusalem resident Daphne Shafruch who was injured in the July 31 bombing at a Hebrew University cafeteria, died from her wounds yesterday. Shafruch, a mother of three, was a university employee. Shafruch’s death brings the fatality toll from the attack to eight. Eleven victims from the bombing remain in Jerusalem hospitals with three in serious condition.



In related news, a memorial ceremony will be held at the Meiron junction in northern Israel today. It was at the junction last Sunday morning that an Arab suicide bomber detonated his explosives aboard a packed public bus murdering ten people and injuring over 50 others.
